Re: CUP FIXTURES ELA WEBSITE??
It's not insulting; merely an opportunity to showcase the sport at a lower level with maybe a fastest pass competition and an egg and spoon cradle challenge. Winners receive a patronising clap and maybe even a little ruffle of the hair, bless 'em. In all seriousness, I have no idea if we've got cup...

Re: Results 10th november
So we're all agreed then? Accessible University lacrosse is a major benefit to the game (men and women) regardless of whether you have come through any junior club set up. I'm glad we've cleared that one up. Now let's support the latest initiative from the Men's Elite Development team - going into U...

Re: Results 10th november
I think what Hall0 meant when he said need a break (I may be wrong) is that being a team mainly based on the university squad, they will be playing full matches on Wednesdays for BUCS and Saturdays for NEMLA. I remember the days of U16s Saturdat morning, Seniors Saturday afternoons and U19s Sunday ...

Re: University Talent Pathway
Bl00dy cracking idea, this. £15 is cheap if you regard this as a 'trial'. Full senior trials usually cost £30. Plenty of things to pay for, not least pitch hire and even the time for someone to organise such an event. I'd hazard that you wouldn't be getting this if it was left to volunteers to run. ...

Re: Losing the head from the crosse
Definitely shouldn't have been allowed to do it two or three times. Ref should have blown as soon as he saw him attempt to play with an exposed shaft end. Bloomin dangerous, that.

Re: Cutting?
It's all about timing and having a connection with your teammate (feeder). The old addage of cutting when you see the back of your defender's helmet still holds true. If you have a defender who likes to ball-watch a lot then you're in for a field day. If you are based in the North (UK) and you want ...

Anyone know Wilmslow v wacs score? Not yet on League Republic yet for some reason but it finished.. Wilmslow 6 : 12 Manchester WACS On a difficult surface Wacs were much improved from last week with an excellent solid defensive base, quick midfield and also regained their attacking sharpness. Eddie...

Change the record gents.... how about actually discussing the results from the weekend? Agreed - completely boring and pointless. Just for your information - not even your proud auntie lilly reads these reports, so why not inject some humour from the writer - i am sure it's current players in our l...

Re: Players Forum meeting
I'm confused about when I am supposed to be offended.
Pom, for the benefit of me and others on this forum, please can you provide an extensive list of when 'racism' is allowable and when it is offensive.
Then I'll know whether to get angry or not.
Thanks,
Dave.

First of all Trig, no not a nerve, just surprised that you seem more interested in a single transfer than my other postings. UK Lacrosse; I am not sure that I see your point. The restructuring may well have been ill conceived as it has rolled out this season, but that if for a whole raft of reasons...

*TRUE STORY KLAXON* When Sheffield Uni were in old Div2 we once stopped off at the local sandwich shop (Belly Busters - you might have heard of it) on the way up to the ground.
