No faith in Bath Uni, disapointing, we only lose 2 players for the tournament.

The west competition is wide open, I think almost anyone can win it on the day. Any idea why Gloucester havnt entered??

Bath beat Exeter 10-5 I believe.

Our defence isnt looking as organised as we would hope but were doing the job I guess. Good game, the exeter lads were good fun after the game aswell, that american needs to learn how to drink wine though

Bring on BUSA

Yeah. pompy didnt look like they had enough experience on the pitch to be fair but it was still a pretty physical game, good fun but our attack again looked very strong. Just getting some form in time for the Uni championhips :)

i can confirm that there are 26 teams signed up to play in the BUSA tournies.... Brilliant news, have Oxford entered?? I think you answered your own question right there Tom... I think the point tom was making that have 1 or 2 more games to play each holiday really isnt that big a problem to whinge...

I agree, the date was left free in our league so it must have been known about. The goal of getting BUSA to recognise the sport is hugely important to the development of the game not least because it opens up a whole new level of funding for coaching and equipment. I can understand non uni clubs bei...

Surely its been decided that fixture clashes are irelevant by now, these tornaments are really important to show that we can get uni teams together to play, otherwise BUSA will never start thinking about a proper league system. If you have a fixture on the day just rearange it or play it on the day ...

So can placement students definitely play as long as they're (I'm) still registered with the University on a course and the lax club as a player??

And does anyone know the final teams entered now the deadline has passed??

Think its a great idea, no need to get so complicated with divisions etc.. we can just play a few games, make sure everyone plays each other and eventually get a mini league going. I believe the mixed runs all academic year but the games arnt that regular and I'm sure we can work around it, playing ...

Good game from Southampton, we didnt give a good showing of ourselves at all, the 3 goals in the last quarter just rubbed salt in the wounds aswell, our team seemed to give up when we went 2 down. Hopefully we'll get some attack training under our belts and step up abit for the away leg.

Bristol did beat us by 1, very enjoyable game though. As always a great team to play against and we're getting a great local derby building now, Looking forward to the return leg later on in the season. cheers to the lads that played in the development game afterwards, was very useful to get some fr...
