Re: League north restructure

Need someone with a D1 licence. otherwise it costs too much with a driver as well You dont have to have a D1 to drive a minibus. Check the dvla. Can do it on a normal licence provided you meet the rules on age, years of holding the licence and weight (g.w.) Of the vehicle. Best to go for a 15 seate...

Re: Results 22 Oct

Bristol over Quins? Discuss...... Don't think they wanted the long away trip to you guys..... Seriously though, we managed to put right a lot of the little mistakes that we'd made in the last game against purley, and the team as a whole is starting to understand that what goes unpunished in a west ...

Purley 6 - 4 Bombers Bath 17 - 5 Bombers 2nds. Hard fought match against purley, we seemed to have a lot of possession, but just lacked the cutting edge at times. Hopefully the return leg will be a different story. As for our 2nds, just going on what I heard on the phone. Sounded like the score was ...

Re: ELA Website

Does anybody else have problems viewing on android phones? I've got a samsung galaxy s, and once the browser had loaded, everyone I navigate on the same screen its reloads the page, leading to quite a frustrating experience! This could just be me, but I think it might be a problem with the site as I...

Game vs Hobart uni 4-5th June

Gents, There is an opportunity to play against Hobart University Mens Lacrosse team - NCAA Div 1 team in Bayeux (Normandy/North France) on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of June. I'm going to get more information in the next few days, but just trying to find out who would be interested in playing. P...

Re: SEMLA Flags Finals 2011

Tbh we should have built on the 6-0 lead, plus I think at one point we were 11-6 up almost the opposite of the draw at your place when we pulled it back from 9-5 down. However it must've made for a good exhibition of the sport for the crowd After playing ports 3 times this season, they are definitel...

Portsmouth?

It'd surely have to be cambridge. Just because they couldnt do the playoff match doesn't mean they weren't worthy winners of east 1

On a side, why is the ela paying the entrance fee to the BNC's? Are they doing this for other teams?

Thought you'd say that!

Could do it though. Say top teams in w1 and e1 go up automatically, bottom two in prem automatically go down, and have playoff between 2nd in w1 and 2nd in e1, winner of which gets to challenge the 10th placed team in prem.

Re: Results - Saturday 02 April 2011

Good job you boys did enough to stay up last week. Proper chuffed that you guys did As for the deduction (our not in this recent case), well I think most people know my thoughts on that.... How can one team have a complaint (which had no procedure at the time.....)against them and have 4 points dedu...

Re: Just sharing a great hit.

Kieran, totally agree that the two are diff. I do the loughborough player for 1 minute for an illegal body check. (rule 70.5) although accidental, its still illegal. I'd do the virginia player for more, either 2 or 3 min for illegal body check as there was intent. Maybe even consider expulsion as th...

Re: Results 26/3/11

Nope, I'll just keep the posts flowing. However on a serious (and not a criticism either), surely as one of the biggest and most successful teams at your uni you could get a better pitch than the one located right by a river (or two if memory serves). From a previous post I've of your team made this...

Re: Results 26/3/11

If exeter do get promoted, I hope they sort their pitch situation out. Any slight bit of rain and the match is called off. Dont think too many west 1 teams would be happy with that, as its a pain to rearrange later on in the season. Also hope exeter dont then just ask for double pointers when they a...

Re: Results - Saturday 19 March 2011

Totally agree with you, however, the walkover against hitchin may have ben a bit harsh as didn't both 1sts and 2nds cancel due to ilness (could be wrong but that's what I thought). May have been better if they had asked for a postponement due to extenuating circumstances. As for cardiff, I still can...

Muz, dont get me wrong, it wasn't a go at EG, just pointing out the interesting sets of results and decisions which have shaped the prem this year and which could result in fortuitous outcomes for some teams, while being pretty disastrous for a couple of others.

Re: Results - Saturday 19 March 2011

Tbh EG are lucky that they aren't relegated already, Hitchin would be definitely staying up if they hasn't lost the point for a walkover earlier in the season which I gather was due to food poisoning? As they got the better head to head vs EG. As for Cardiff, well they'd also be staying up if the ha...

There's no goading from the player, but those nearby to the cameraman certainly are.
