They're mediums - they're fine if you have relatively small arms (11.5 stone or under...) but I wouldn't recommend them if you a big armed bloke!

Precisely... much more sided towards a safety 'technical' issue than an unfair advantage like pinching your stick to oblivion...

I personally think that the rule should be changed - if the rest of the crosse is legal and you have strings over 2 inches, the goal stands. Then the stick is banned from the pitch until legal, and/or the player gets a technical penalty which they have to serve. Seems to make a lot more sense to me...

The fundamental issue I have with this rule is that it does not actually affect scoring a goal. If you clean beat your man and stick the ball in the net, at what point have the 2.5 inch strings played any part? In the first instance if you notice your opposite man has long strings and you're worried...
