EG vs Welwyn
Welwyn 2 vs Buckhurst Hill
Cambridge vs Welwyn 3 (Sunday)
all off because of the obvious. To say the least - that's a pain.

Welwyn 8 - 7 Maidstone 6-3 at half time, think welwyn slowed down mentally, where as maidstone came out wanting the win. really good enjoyable game, not sure maidstone will think quite the same as it was a bit of a nailbiter welwyn getting a goal 10 seconds before the end of game! still a good perf...

Re: Finding Club Lists on the ELA website
Guys, I am finding it really difficult to navigate the ELA website. I just need to find the section where it has the list of registered players for your club so I can double check everyone is registered.... The database system in operation last year has been changed and currently doesn't have this ...

Rob,
Many thanks to you and the rest of the Spencer guys for a very useful warm up game yesterday. Surprisingly good weather and a match that was competitive and good fun throughout. And please thank your team for encouraging and helping our newest players.

Re: Any lax 1/2nd Sept (except Bath 8's)
Rob,
Welwyn are organising a couple of cars to come down - it'll be a mixed bag of a couple of our second team squad, mainly thirds and some beginners.
Hope that's ok - please let me know if the arrangements change.

Re: Results 03 March 2012
Yeah that's fair enough, as long as losing 2 goals on our goal difference doesn't get us relegated or anything  Byelaw says Should more than one team have the same number of points, then these teams shall be placed in order with the team which has the highest goal average (i.e. goals 'for' di...

Re: Results 03 March 2012
Almost right, believe it was actually 15 - 13 Still was a good game at the end of the day, if Croydon hadn't had to start with 9 men outcome could've been different! CBO agrees with you 15 - 13 it was. Not sure if the 9 men bit made much difference as we only scored 1 man up goal in the time you we...

Re: Results 21st January
Can confirm the result was Colchester 4 vs Welwyn 2's 12. Not sure I agree with the comment about a lot of shots from outside though. If my memory is correct the majority of goals came from cuts to the crease a large proportion being from X. Good game though and well reffed. Any more spectacular cr...

Re: is there such a thing as unnecessary roughness?
I set a behind goal pick a couple of weeks ago and the the on ball D man saw me and accelerated whist putting his head down from about 5 feet away. Unnecessary roughness? My left shoulder thinks so Not sure about unnessary roughness for this but if he put his head down and speared you that is one o...

Re: Lax in Bucks
My nearest club is Welwyn so if no takers I'll try and get over there if theres room for an extra aging short stick. Welwyn are still practising on Wednesday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00 (or so - depends on weather, light, numbers) at the University of Herts. At this stage of the off season it's no...

Well we are all getting older. I think it was also the top 8 teams that were involved in the playoff rounds. It was quite an entertaining end to the season (well apart from the match against Oxford Uni of course).

Re: SEMLA East vs West Play-off Game April 2
I actually remember that 05/06 season pretty well and can confirm it was a 4 team play off, Cambridge conceeded the play-off semi to us due to lack of players etc then we lost to Welwyn in the final and they opted not to go up. . We didn't opt not to go up - we didn't get the opportunity! We played...
