Blues vs. Hampstead

All about the face-off. If Hampstead can get James Mitchell out then it could be a tough day for Howie and Burkett but if Blues can start with posession then I think they will edge it.

Thanks to Hampstead for managing to arrange a full game in the end. Was well worth the wait.

Referee was excellent. Hamsptead have some very good players. Wish them all the best in the flags final.

I have only reffed a dozen or so games but having seen other refs use play on foul calls at faceoffs have begun to use the call myself as I think it helps to keep the flow of the game and subconciously to keep the mind of the players on the game rather than worrying about appealing to the referee. EG A vs Blue 2.

Blues played well as a team, no heroes just good controlled offence, I think all of their offensive players scored. Would hold their own in the prem.

Blues reclaimed the Dunmore Cup in convincing fashion this year with both EG and Blues fielding a mixture of their first and A teams. We have around 10 teams confirmed so far for the 6's next Saturday.
