US TV

WMAR, Channel 2 in Baltimore does a limited schedule of college lax in the spring. They have an internet feed. When I see the schedule, I will post it up.

Loyola and Hopkins also do internet radio feeds.

IMHO

My quick thoughts: Yes, it sucks that some teams are expat Americans. But that should fade over time and I think that we see that it is fading. I like the current structure: I just wish I could get there. I think the associated festival, over time, will help with this. The thing is so many Yanks wan...

I don't think that's a cross check. He was trying to come over the top. Legal if not risky check.

Yep, I know Hotrod is the Canada coach. He is also one of the best midfielders I ever saw play the game. Nice family; good people.

GM Games

Why don't you bring your team over to Sunny Florida: there's a nice tournament in Ft. Lauderdale in January? All the top US GM teams will be there.

England

I was afraid I would sound too critical. It was not my intention. I saw some very promising play, from the midfield and all around. I think the goalkeepers are spectacular.

Yes, it's early going and I think this team will acquit itself very well.

Loyola

Sorry, I am a grad of Loyola and a diehard fan. They simply are not yet an elite team, seldom going deep in the tournament. I wish this were not so, because Charlie Toomey is a great coach. I am afraid he will depart for greener pastures.

Quick thoughts

I sat in on this game for a short while. Unleash the Dogs of War. On the few offensive possessions, the England middies repeatedly passed up high percentage shots for the "last pass." Get the boys out and have them shoot on goal. Your defense is wasting some good goal keeping, leaving the ...

Sorry

Sorry boys,

England could not reliably clear the ball on Loyola, which ain't even a top flight US D1 team right now. England will be lucky to make the top 4.

Loyola game

Quick thoughts. The England goal keeper looks top notch. #11 looks like a good player, but needs to crank the shot. He was getting open regularly, but would make one extra pass instead of stuffing the ball. He missed 3 easy goals (at least) that way. Defense needs to calm down on clears. Middies nee...

Grand Masters

Talk to me then; we would love to set up a home and away series against a UK or other EU team. My team has a tournament; and we play in several others. Let's see where we can go with this.

American GrandMaster

This has been posted elsewhere too. I am on a Baltimore, Maryland, USA-based GM team and we are very interested in attending the Manchester Festival in July 2010. We would love to establish a connection to a UK or other Euro based GM team, for logistical and carousing purposes. My team has a wealth ...
