I'll second that about the ignite's not lasting, I'm not the hardest hitter, especially in training, and I've broken two (the second was a replacement, as our team had got some in bulk, due to a special offer, i'd never buy one again). The platinum alloy from warrior is pretty good, especially, when...

Shamrock Proflexx leather. Fairly cheap and virtually bulletproof. Also they have a different design of cuff which I like, as it offers fair bit of wrist protection without having a floating cuff. Plus I like having something a bit different, as I've never seen anyone else using them.

Firefly - Truly a great show. I though that while serenity was good it could have been even better as a second series. I heard a rumour a while back that they were trying to get firefly picked up again just on a different network. Another fox one that was a shame: Futurama however that's coming back...

Opening game of the DLL

The first game of the DLL yesterday, played between KFB Raiders (amager) and Copenhagen A team, ended with a 15-0 win to CPHA. The game was also the first game played by KFB, with several players picking up a stick for the first time less than an hour before face off, playing against the most experi...

Fantastic

He could have at least spared us the failed attempt! could it be that his gammer powers extend further than just lacrosse - video editing gammer.
The real question of course though, is what "trick" will he do for us next?

a good cheap D head is the warrior revo. Strong and usually only around £30-£40.
have a look in the defensive tips section, there was a whole thread about what heads and shafts are good for defense.
Hope this helps

I do like my Gait helmet a-lot. It has a custom fit adjustment as the main part of it is an I-Tech ice hockey helmet. Looks wise it is a bit wierd however, and there is not much protection for the lower back of the head It's also incredibly light. Not sure where you'd get one in the UK though, mine ...

I agree with both Ash and ibop. Most uni teams fluctuate loads each season (as an example at UEA at the end of this year a lot of our most experienced players left, either to move away, or to start the new east coast club(based in Norwich aswell)) Also as ibop says the most important factor is how c...

Don't forget UEA, not neccessarily the best LAX in the country, due to most away games being quite a long way to travel, however you cans till get some good lacrosse and it's got a great atmosphere (ranked in the top 3 of the national student survey for student satisfaction). Just thought someone ne...

If you subscribe to the fast break newsletter they do you can also fill out a survey and get 3 free issues. Not sure if this is still valid in the UK though, as I only did the survey earlier today.

If you want a target which is a bit of a challenge, you could try doing what me and my housemates did, which was to get an old traffic cone and balance it on something (we used an old broken rotary washing line) and shoot at the large end. Very frustration at first as it's far more difficult than it...

That was an awesome tournament. Thanks to all the teams there, but especially Hitchin for that friendly at the end. We even got to field one of our players who has been off with an injury all year.

Cheers
