The Blues bus to the flags final has some spare seats if anyone from other clubs are interested in a lift. Our aim is to watch the early games, so we're hoping to get to Reading for 12:30. Cheers for the support, boys! Sunday's session was really good and was great to see the makings of what should be a strong south squad. Still a lot of work to be done, but base is definitely there. Needless to say the nationals should be good fun and im looking forward to doing my best for the team....

I got mine involuntarily when joey snapped my short stick with the first check of a game. I just filled it with gravel (to weight it the same as a regular long pole) and put it to good use. get a cheap tennis ball and cut a slit in it about an inch long, squash the ball long the cut to open it up. fill the ball with as many 1ps u can fit in there to weight it and just practice cradling with that. Its really good for working the fore-arms and getting them accustomed to your cradling act...

for those of us using public transport, will anyone be able to give lifts from the train/tubes stations nearby? Where are the best stations to aim for? i remember blues ground not being too accessible for those without cars.

ha, no implication made, i did notice yours but you're not the only person i have seen with cut gloves. Just wondering what the official rule was. im not splitting hairs, but i guess u need all the help u can get, especially when u score about 6 on us... was with your right though ;) cheers guys

Out of interest, can anyone tell me if it's illegal to cut the palms out of your gloves in the UK leagues?
