Yesterday Purley A had their first game in about 25 years, away at Royal Holloway - both teams had a good mix of freshers and experienced players. Yeah, draws are rubbish, so's the "well dome you get a point for turning up rule. Surely we are in a different situation now than the one we were in which required it. Shouldn't we be docking a point or two for not turning up??? i agree - ive always thought this was a weird rule i remember it ...

Thats just completely insane - I'd love to see a game with the the Gaits playing (something I've not actually ever managed to find) I wonder what the equivalent is for defense/goalie?
