Re: Summer Results!
Spencer (a mix of IIs and IIIs palyers largely) beat the reformed RMAS team on the hallowed (and sadly rarely allowed to be used) Spencer astro. A good fun game to play in. Plenty of commitment, and a pretty decent showing from the Army boys, especially considering the fact that there were loads of ...

As always everyone welcome either as recruitment consideration, or as a scrimmage opportunity. Well be entering several tournys this summer so all new prospects welcome When you guys reckon yo...

Re: Results 26/3/11
Spencer 3 vs Welwyn 2. Great game to play in a very slow start from us combined with Spencer pushing us hard the whole game made for a close fought contest. Spencer were ahead most of the game and I think it was 11-8 to Spencer going into the final quarter. welwyn dug deep though and managed to pul...

If we get the chance to go up, you bet your ass you will see Bristol going up! All the boys have worked hard to get the club to where it is, We have quality players who are capable of playing at Prem level! Spot on. Surely this is why we play the game - push yourself as hard as you can, get as far ...

Of the blue div games I saw, first US / CAN game (for the party atmosphere as many people had been there all day sampling the, ahem, hospitality) and ENG/JAP for the drama. Kiwis were good value in the other pool games too. So much to see though.

Re: own Food and drink banned- disgrace
I had a bag both days I was up there at the weekend. Most I got was someone asking if I had any cans.
Beer's not cheap at £3.50 a pint. And yet for some reason by the time USA / Canada came around on Saturday evening we still managed to be battered. Some definitely more than others.

Re: Lobby your MP on allowing the Iroquois to travel
Good words WIll. Sent to Chuka Umunna (Streatham). Added the following as a p.s. to stress that time is definitely a factor..... p.s. if you are intending to take any action on this matter I urge you to do so as soon as possible, as the tournament kicked off yesterday (with England, who had been due...

Am watching the streaming replay as we speak. By my reckoning Greg actually got the German assist on the 1 goal he didn't score (not that I am biased as a Spencer player or anything).

Re: British Consulate Delay Iroquois Nationals
The Iroquois situation is interesting--by treaty, the tribal lands are not part of the US, and the various tribes make money selling cut-rate things like petrol and cigarettes, without US or state taxes, and running casinos without being subject to state gambling laws. Imagine driving into a little...

Re: Blues Summer Scrimmages - 28th July Onwards
So at present for the London player with a silly amount of free time you can do Spencer on Sunday (Wandsworth Common), Hillcroft on Tuesday (Clapham Common), Blues on a Wednesday (Chez Blues). Haven't looked at any more but it's possible that the super keen could literally train every day at this ra...

Re: Betting on World Championships
It's actually interesting to ponder who, at these firms, is pricing this stuff. Much as we all love it, It's a kinda niche sport in the UK (compared to footy etc) and insider knowledge (i.e. from someone who actually plays / officiates / spectates here and knows the game) is probably a far more valu...
