Solid defensive performance made up for a disjointed display up front at times. Brooklands' midfield was dominant both ends of the field which was the difference.

I'd assume it's been done to follow the traditional Lancashire/Cheshire lacrosse boundary of the River Mersey.

Liverpool north of river = Lancs.

Chester south of river = Cheshire

1-handed checks were illegal at youth level, in the Baltimore area at least, when I was touring over there as a youngster way back when.

I'm suggesting the elite players just play in the summer (plus any others who want to play lower leagues through the winter then step up in the summer).
