i rate tom leahy, best long stick middy i have seen for a while. Although i do play in the 3rd division, he would be playing 1st Div for his home team if he didn't come and play for Sheffield University. Just shows his character! (of being up for uni lax, not being a glory hoe.) he wont be playing f...

If we're not looking at just BUSA players, then I'd say the majority of the Sheffield Unis NEMLA D3 team (combination of only Sheffield Uni and Sheffield Hallam players). Through to the cup finals so pretty decent if you ask me. Because they don't play Uni's league, so I'd say DONT count them! They...

As a keeper I have occassionally seen the ball dip in flight that phenomenon is called gravity. you can curve a lacrosse ball, its just not exactly the same curve you get with an air-flow football.. like previously stated, the spin of a ball and its friction with air creates a difference in air pre...

i feel it was a shame that the northern busa tournament contained ~12 teams, while it seams most other tournaments, had ~4 teams, surely we should have spread the love and moved the boundaries of the catchment areas? afterall its about the development of lacrosse, the more games the merrier (on aver...

Re: Playing surface - who cares ?
Interesting that a couple of years ago SEMLA agreed Hampstead could play on Astroturf for a season rather than be homeless. Surprise, surprise they are still there on a rubber crumb surface with no crease or restraining lines - cos they are not alowed to apply them to the surface. why not mark the ...

we would actually need a solid english uni's team first. north english uni's did ok in the last nationals, but it was not a true representation the standard of players that go to univeristy, but more of a representation of some players that actually play for their university. Maybe with these events...

yer, it looks like a college team. we need to get the English uni nationals side doing these things, and actually representing the name on the shirt. Like i said, Ali and Mike should be emailing us all to keep us properly updated, they have all of our details, if not we should mail aspinal his mail ...
