Real thriller for 3quarters with Cambridge levelling 2 minutes into the final quarter then Oxford pulling away. Real pleasure to referee with a big crowd on a lovely sunny spring day.

Blues 18-7 Purley

Very entertaining and fun game to referee. Blues D looking as shaky as I have seen all year against Purley's unique offensive style, but the result was never in doubt after the first quarter with Blues seemingly scoring at will.

Hillcroft 12-5 Bristol Bristol scored first then Hillcroft took control. Bristol came back well to win the last quarter but too little too late. Hillcroft A 6-5 Maidstone Maidstone started with 7 30 minutes after the scheduled start time due to traffic issues, which made for some interesting referee...

Blues comfortable winners on the field. Hillcroft comfortable winners in the bar. (they are probably still there.)

Another pleasure to ref game. Two in a row in E1 what is going on?

Blues 2s 6-10 Spencer 2s

Fairly even game (was 5-5 at one point) with a strong blues side and slightly weakened Spencer. Won by Spencer fairly comfortably in the end, they took their chances well.

I believe that confirms Spencer as E1 champions.
