Simon, Exeter City Lacrosse Club started earlier this year, I think, and is being driven by a group from the Uni. It does have a facebook page although little used : https://www.facebook.com/ExeterCityLacrosseClub?fref=ts The Falmouth Club is also a college club, I believe; facebook: https://www.fac...

Television coverage for minor sports | petition
A petition to the UK government has been started calling for a BBC Sport channel to aid minority/olympic sports.
It's a great idea why not give it some support?
Sign the petition here: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/37077

Re: Congratulations ELA
But joking aside is the plan submitted to sport England available to the public or registered members of the ELA Pom, Do you mean this 10 year plan on the ELA website? http://www.englishlacrosse.co.uk/english-lacrosse-ngb/resources-funding/library/english-lacrosse-10-year-strategy/ I think the team...

Re: The Coach Academy Launches
Why is there a requirement for a coaching infrastructure that does not fit the NGB and Sport England recognition? It seems strange to me that a niche sport requires differing coaching patterns and "qualifications". I for one am very in favour if more coaches. But query the nurturing under...

Re: Can Women now play Men's lacrosse??
There is a big difference between playing the same game and competing mixed gender, you don't see women play rugby v men? Absolutely Buckers, but that isn't the point. The point is that the game of rugby the women play is on the same pitch and to the same Laws as when men play. One game two genders...

Hi Phil,
Have you tried contacting David Abini from the ELA, I think he may have several bits of video he could put together.

Re: Ken Gallucio Cup
Why don't they let Hamburg host the event each year? Great city, cheap and easy to get to, they have great club facilities and it has a tie-in with the man who the cup is named after. You could also give Hamburg LC an automatic place in the tournament as the team representing Ken. Hamburg didn't pi...

Re: Ken Gallucio Cup
It looks like ELF profiteering to me! BeeZee. I thought some facts, rather than speculation, might be of some help in clearing up some misconceptions. First the ELF doesn't actually run, or gain any benefit from the event. Second, the event was put out to tender for any organization to run. ELF rec...

Re: Open Trials for England U19 women
The Question of exactly what the selection criteria will be and who will know what the criteria is, was asked at the Volunteers Conference repeatedly No answer was forth coming as to what the criteria will be or when or if it will be released to all Coaches & Players. This is vital IMHO for the...

Re: Open Trials for England U19
No as I said I have no issue with this the academy route. is the correct way to go as long as it is cheap and open to all regions but I would not believe that for one second the only realistic way unless you are an overseas player to get on an ELA England team is through an ELA academy with ELA coa...

Re: Open Trials for England U19

Re: Open Trials for England U19
The whole point is just that...it is changing..for the better IMHO. The women's U19s now have completely open trials, and I think that will permeate through the women's elite system in the future. It will, however, take a bit of time to unwind the existing system. So it would be nice to hear a well ...

Open Trials for England U19 women
The New England U19 women's Coach, Nicky Budd, has introduced an open trialling system for the U19 squad. This is an exciting time for the U19s, giving all girls the opportunity to trial for the national team regardless of if they have been previously involved in the CENTEX program. Applications nee...
