ESPN America

Lots more NCAA lacrosse on the channel this year and in HD - great to see. Even when the scheduled game (UMBC v UMD) was postponed they replaced with a replay of Mt St Marys v Hopkins when in previous years they would have put Nascar in its place!!! Does anyone use ESPN player (not sure how many mor...

Re: Should we move SEMLA to the Summer?

If moving the season didn't work a SEMLA summer league could be an alternative? Imagine due to other sports/weddings/holidays it may not be based on the club structure as is now but maybe the counties or similar avoiding the key Summer tournaments. Summer lacrosse always seems to be done locally rat...

Re: Results 27th Oct

Out of interest why? Both teams unfortunately had trouble getting a full squad together Not true. Blues had plenty of players available earlier in the week when Croydon conceded the game, then, back end of the week Croydon decided they could field a team and wanted to play the game. By that time th...

If we need a new one set up i am happy to run it.

Re: Lacrosse teams near Godalming.

Probably looking at EG, Epsom or Blues, all good clubs.

Blues facebook page is here http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001252867614 where our summer scrimmages will be advertised, even if you decide to play somewhere else more than welcome to join in over the summer.

Re: Lacrosse feature on Sky Sports

Firstly, great to see lacrosse on Sky, regardless of format etc. Obviously there is a lot of work going on to increase participation in Universities through the INTO scheme and this is what this piece highlighted - I assume this was all done via INTO and therefore they obviously decided how to pitch...

Re: South or Counties

Southern counties entering the BNCs in the short term would weaken the tournament - the South and South Dev team seem to have been functioning well in terms of trials, training and performance at the BNCs so surely this should remain. To move towards a counties structure in the South to compete at t...

And safety was the big issue why would the stick check not be called as soon as the issue was noticed as this would be the safest thing. so the stick chec...
