Re: League Format / Fixtures / International Breaks
It all needs to be looked into, if the ELA dont realise that it is effecting our sport then they really dont care about Lacrosse in this nation reaching its full potential. The format set up at the end of the season has no purpose and when play starts the winner and loser of the league could already...

Re: Cheadle Lacrosse
I have watched every team this year and can honestly say (with this years additions) that Cheadle are the best team in the country, I havent seen a better team! I heard in both games Stockport had a lot of penalties and with Cheadle high powered man up unit it made it impossible for Stockport to win...

Lets talk about the Weather!
It seems like for the last 4 seasons as a direct result of weather we have 4 weeks and sometimes more break in the middle of the season which can not be doing anyones form any good and would also be very hard to practice in this time unless you have an indoor facility!!! Also the U19's League & ...

Re: Syracuse University
I was lucky enough to be introduced to Coach Simmons Jr by his best friend (who has now passed away) John McElroy a few years ago, I have been to his families home for Paddy's day dinner, been to lunch with him and sat in his box at the Carrier Dome for a few Syracuse games, he has the greatest stor...

Re: U19 - Thoughts and comments
It really comes down to the level of competition that we have at home and the need to step up that much more when we get to a World Championships, you can get away with sloppy play here and the realisation of game speed, technique and the steps you need to make to be competitive in a World Champions...

Re: England v Canada (Semi-Final)
Both teams (I think) had only played at 1pm once, it was a very rainy day and both team seemed flat to be honest the game was played at an easy pace and England didnt capitilise on some chances at the start of the game for whatever reason with penalties for both sides - the lads looked drained menta...

Re: England v Canada (Semi-Final)
The score does not do the lads justice, after making 2 mistakes at the start of the game they played very well and the score should have been a lot closer, the D played physical, sealing the crease and making the Canadians shoot from bad locations and James Hewitt was a wall after the first Quarter ...

Re: USA v Iroquois
Wow! hello from Turku, Finland again. As USA warmed up on the field I walked past the Iroquois huddle outside the stadium in their make-shift locker rooms with the coaches saying "lets make history today"......................and that is exactly what happened, what an amazing game, it was ...

Re: England v USA
To be honest this is all very petty and im suprised a MOD from this forum would push staying off the forum! GET BEHIND THE BOYS THE HAVE A HUGE GAME IN TWO DAYS THAT WILL STILL GIVE US A CHANCETO MEDAL! If it be England 99 or 2008 or beyond we should all support the lads wearing red and white and ca...

Re: England v USA
First off lets not take this out on Orange05 too much he is obviously interested in supporting England U19's as he is following all the games and posting scores for everyone, however please be aware of how flippant comments can effect the boys and parents in Turku! this tournament is still going on ...

Re: USA v Canada
I dont think using the excuse of the coaches being stronger for Canada in this tournament is true, in 2008 they had Gary Gait & Brodie Merrill on the staff and USA has always used High School Coaches, I made the observation that the Canadians are bigger than the american team and have athletes a...
